After learning about improving our built environments and what it means to create meaningful designs, students were required to make a presentation board for their final project.
Students were required to make a residence for a client looking for a sustainable and functional living space where they could live. Students were required to make mood boards, floorplans, and other design techniques to create this presentation board.
For this project, I created a one-story, studio-style house. This house includes a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a patio/garden area. Some of my sustainable and functional aspects were the use of recycled materials for specific furniture pieces and appliances that helped eliminate the client's carbon footprint.
