Students were assigned a specific aesthetic for their final project after learning about aesthetics and how it relates to the design industry.
This project was broken up into two parts. In part one, students needed to research their aesthetic and create a story, color palette, specific audience, and some styling techniques. In part two, students were required to make a mood board that showcased their new aesthetic.
For my group project, we were assigned to "Vintage Collegiate." After researching this aesthetic, we found inspiration from Princess Diana and several films, such as The Dead Poet's Society. We decided to focus our project on the fashion aspect of design and create a fashion collection showcasing five outfits with various accessories.
